Fung Graduate Fellowship (FGF) Program
Together with its partners the Victor and William Fung Foundation, Koç University (www.ku.edu.tr) is looking for 6 talented PhD candidates from China for the 2018-19 academic year.
The Victor and William Fung Foundation have established the Fung Graduate Fellowship Program for students from China (including Hong Kong) who are admitted by Koç University to pursue PhD degrees.
The Program is designed to support PhD candidates to carry out scientific research at Koç University over a four-year period, during which they will write their doctoral thesis generating new scientific knowledge.
NUMBER OF BENEFICIARIES
Every year 6 PhD students from all disciplines will benefit from the Fung Graduate Fellowship (FGF) Program.
FUNDING
The Fung Graduate Fellowship Program will provide
- Tuition cost
- Monthly stipend of US$1,350 for the entire period of study (4 years)
(The stipend is 60% higher than the regular PhD stipend at Koç University) - Coverage of PhD thesis related expenses
- $140 of Health Insurance
- Meal Card
- Free housing at the campus or $500 for off-campus accommodation
ELIGIBILITY AND SELECTION CRITERIA
Chinese citizens living in China, Hong Kong, China and Macau, China who have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a reputable university. Preference will be given to students from the following Fung Scholars & Fellows Partner Universities:
